Tour de Hongrie's international media coverage in 2026 broke all previous records.
According to data from our international media distribution partner, Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), Tour de Hongrie was once again broadcast in more than one billion households across 190 countries in 2026. The 73 broadcasters (20 of which broadcast the events live), the 37 digital media partners, and the total of 704 hours of airtime all represent record highs in the race’s history.
Once again, the event was broadcast by media giants such as Eurosport and HBO Max, Claro (Latin America), FloSports (USA and Canada), L’Equipe (France), Sky (New Zealand), SBS (Australia), Supersports (Africa), Sportklub (Southern Europe), and Proximus (Belgium). This year, for the first time, the Hungarian Tour was broadcast live by China’s Zhibo TV, Bein Sports Asia, Ukraine’s Maincast, Norway’s VG, and the UK’s TNT Sports. Cycling news portals such as Cyclingnews and Lanterne Rouge also covered the race with video highlights.

Eurosport aired a recap of each stage every day and broadcast the final two hours of the race live on the HBO Max streaming platform. The channel aired 18 hours of programming, drawing a total of 2.4 million European viewers to their screens.
Our domestic media partner, M4 Sport, broadcast every stage live from start to finish, both online and on television. Including the team presentation, the Tour de Hongrie analysis and review show, “Aprés Tour,” replays, and recaps, the host broadcaster dedicated a total of 35.5 hours of airtime to Tour de Hongrie. During this time, the race reached nearly one million viewers—with more than 400,000 tuning in to watch Sunday’s queen stage.
