Stage 4 of Tour de Hongrie has been shortened

Due to rainy weather conditions, the queen stage of the Tour de Hongrie between Mohács and Pécs will be shortened by 41 kilometers. The start time has been changed to 13:00 (CET).

Due to heavy rain expected throughout the day, the organizers have shortened the route for Stage 4 of the Tour de Hongrie at the teams’ request. The Villány–Siklós–Harkány loop has been removed from the route—the peloton will head directly from Villány toward Pécs. The mountain circuit will remain unchanged to preserve the character of the race—the peloton will climb Bárány Road four times. The race distance will thus be 147 km. The expected finish time won't change (16:30 CET).

Instead of the intermediate sprints in Villány and on Széchenyi Square in Pécs, a new sprint point will be designated on Szigeti Road, where points and bonus seconds will be awarded during the final three laps.
