19th Tour de Hongrie

The East Germans dominated the field in 1963, and won everything - except the General Classification.

Hungarian András Mészáros beat Lothar Höhne with just 20 seconds. The National Team of East Germany won six stages out of eight, but the Újpesti Dózsa's victory in the race's first ever Team Time Trial meant that they came up short.
