Károly Németh has already won a stage at the Tour de Hongrie in 1934, but during the decimal edition, he was unstoppable.
The financial struggle continued: the best international riders announced their vacancy one by one. In the end, only 32 riders got together in Budapest for the Big Start, and only one of them was a foreigner... Károly Németh had no contest in this shrinked peloton: he won four of the five stages, and dominated the general classification.
